The Richard Galliano Tangaria Quartet play Autumn Leaves (Les feuilles mortes) live as an encore.
I love the way he restrains himself from playing that one note that completes the main theme, keeping the listener on the edge, just craving for it to be played, and then he gives it a false start, it’s like he’s playing games on you!

Last Friday, illrambo and I were discussing Björk at school and we had this idea, that her voice would really suit Autumn Leaves/Les Feuilles Mortes, a song whose cover by Igor Butman, Richard Galliano and Gary Burton I’ve posted before.
I mean, her voice is so liquid and the melody is so sweet and easy… I even considered she might have done it in the 80s or something, but I couldn’t find anything.
So, what do you think, wouldn’t it be wonderful if she sang it?
