This is the song I wish I had heard at my prom, You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry, in this memorable scene from you-know-what-movie by you-know-who-he-is.

But altogether I had a good time, the band was surprisingly good, and oddly enough, for an otherwise typical teenage rock band, the bassist really stood out from the lot, he played so smoothly!

And in the end I got to improvise over No Woman No Cry with the cool band folks, a friend of mine got to play drums on another song, and then we had the bar near the beach practically for ourselves, it was great. The owner even let me play one of the guitars on the wall, and a man whom we always see around compared me to his late son for my playing, I’ve never had anyone enjoy my music so much, although I was just improvising freely.

I just got home from a friend’s house, and I’ll be packing up today for our senior trip, we’re leaving tomorrow for Spain, I think I might post something else…
